Sterling silver ring with a 2.8mm faceted round bluey green sapphire.

This sapphire is a blue green, the colour of seaweedy rockpools. It is simply set in a rub over tapered setting onto a 2.8mm textured silver band. I made the texture by hammering a wider ring edge on until the two flattened edges almost meet. Leaving a thread of sea strand tideline around the band inside and out.
