silver acorn and oak leaf necklace

Regular price £94.00
During the Norman Conquest, the English carried dried acorns to protect themselves from the brutalities of the day. Considered to be an emblem of luck, prosperity, youthfulness and power. Well, I'm not promising you'll get all that with this necklace, but it will look lovely and maybe this oak leaf acorn cluster will become your own safe-keeper!

The sterling silver acorn is approx 1.1cm wide and 1.6cm long from top of the loop on the acorn cap to bottom of acorn. The acorn is solid silver cast in Scotland from the original silver acorn I made myself. It weighs approx 4.1g and is UK hallmarked.

The sterling silver oak leaf with a unique leaf texture taken from a real skeleton leaf is approx 1.2cm wide and 2.7cm long from top of bail to bottom of leaf. The leaf itself is approx 1.2cm x 2.1cm.

The acorn and oak leaf are on on a 45cm hallmarked silver oval belcher chain.

You can also purchase just the silver acorn charm from the collection.
