silver and prehnite or aventurine acorn earrings
During the Norman Conquest, the English carried dried acorns to protect themselves from the brutalities of the day. Considered to be an emblem of luck, prosperity, youthfulness and power. Well, I'm not promising you'll get all that with these earrings, but they will look lovely and maybe these little acorns in their handmade silver caps will become your own safe-keeper!
Sterling silver handmade and stamped cap on either a faceted prehnite or smooth aventurine bead creates a cute little acorn. Very apt for Autumn! The beads are 10mm diameter. They are hung on silver continental fixings with a sprung lever back for extra security and comfortable to wear. Overall drop from top of the earwires to the bottom of the acorn is 3.3cm
All the texture on the caps are hand stamped so they are all individual, the photos are representative of the earrings you will receive.
In some of the pictures you can see the matching acorn necklace.
